Audition season is upon us. Constant traveling for auditions and a busy schedule combined with changing weather, fall allergies, and cold and flu season create the perfect storm for potential illness. The last thing you want to worry about is getting sick right before an important audition.
If I feel like I’m coming down with something, I make this for dinner, and I swear it works. Take a giant pile of spinach and sauté it up with a generous helping of smashed or minced garlic, a healthy dose of chopped fresh ginger, a pinch or two of cayenne pepper, and either lemon juice or raw apple cider vinegar. You will feel like you’ve overdosed on vitamins, but I bet you’ll feel better by the next morning.
